WINTON, CA - At approximately 8:45 p.m., this evening Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of shots fired at the corner of Cali and Crawford in Winton.  Several gunshots were heard in the area and witnesses thought they sounded like a 9 mm weapon. No injuries have been reported.

As deputies were arriving in the area, another caller reported to dispatch that a vehicle in the 6600 block of Cali had been struck by bullets.

A witness also told authorities that they believed the suspects vehicle, which was described as a newer model grey Honda, was parked Crawford.

Deputies have told MCNTV News that they are still in the early stages of the investigation.
